Adoption Option Definitions

This is when the baby needs to stay at the nursery a little longer but can be “pre-adopted” and visited until he or she is ready to go to their forever home.

This is when your new kitten hits the big 2-pound milestone, is healthy and stable, and gets to head home to start bonding time with you! The new paw-rents are in charge of following the rescue’s care and feeding directions to help their little fluffball thrive.

The kitten may need to come in for a few weigh-ins and vaccines. Once they reach 3 pounds, we “kit-nap” baby for their spay/neuter day. After that—ta-da!—the adoption is officially complete! 🐾💕

🚨🚨🚨RETIRED MOMS CLUB🚨🚨🚨

We have something a little different, two sweet kitties that ARE NOT KITTENS! Introducing Nelly and Mabel who both deserve a medal for heroism. They were both found out in the Arizona elements. They were pregnant, they were alone, and they had nowhere to go except to hide! Thankfully, they made their way to us at Itty Bitty Bottle Babies Rescue and were able to have their babies in a safe space.
Understandably, both Mabel and Nelly take time to warm up and trust new people. These retired moms need a special home that will be patient and loving so their confidence can grow as they transition into their new safe space. It may take time but both of these girls are SO worth the wait. If you think you have the right home for one of these amazing girls, please email us at ittybittyfedkittens@gmail.com. Their adoption fee is $75 each. We will screen applicants very carefully so we make sure their next stop is the best forever home that they deserve.
Mabel: Calico, approximately 1 1/2 years old, long hair, spayed and vaccinated. Mabel is a mama cat who had 5 healthy kittens that she fed for 6 weeks. She is a very sweet cat who needs lots of love. She is shy and needs to be with someone who can take the time to let her get used to being loved and petted. You can pick her up but she wants right back down. She will sit next to you and get loves. After getting use to other felines she likes to play with them. We do not know how she is with dogs and kids.

Nelly: Calico, approximately 1 1/2 years old, short hair, spayed and vaccinated. Nelly is not great with dogs or other cats. She is in a foster home with three very docile, cat loving Golden Retrievers and IS NOT a fan. Although Nelly was a very young mom, she was a very good mama to her kittens. She was very protective but allowed us to help her and her kittens. She LOVES to play, catch bugs around the house, and enjoys the interaction with people and toys. She talks A LOT and will chat back to you all day long. She likes pets but will let you know when she's had enough. She loves kids and would thrive in a home that respects her cattitude and allows her to warm up slowly.
